A 24 year old man was nabbed Sunday afternoon in a buy-bust operation conducted by personnel of San Vicente police station at Sitio Kasaysayan, Barangay Rio Tuba, Bataraza, Palawan.
A police report identified the suspect as Michael Caboteja, unemployed, and a resident of the same place.
Recovered from the suspect’s possession were 10 pieces of heat sealed transparent sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, one bundle of empty plastic sachet believed to be used in repacking shabu, a bundle of rolled aluminum foil believed to be use as drug paraphernalia, one piece white plastic straw, six pieces of one thousand peso bill used as marked money, one piece fifty peso bill, three pieces of lighter, one piece of black money bag and two units of cellphone.
The suspect is now under the custody of Bataraza municipal police station amd subjected for inquest proceedings for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. The confiscated illegal drugs will be brought to Palawan Provincial Crime Laboratory Office (PCLO) for examination.
Police operatives also arrested three-wanted person during separate operations conducted in the past two days.
Reynaldo Gemino, 48 years old, driver and resident of Barangay Poblacion, San Vicente, Palawan was arrested Sunday by personnel of San Vicente police station under an existing warrant of arrest for the crime of Statutory Rape and two counts of Sexual Assault issued by Hon. Judge Anna Leah Mendoza of RTC Barnch 59, Roxas, Palawan dated September 25, 2017.
Daryl Paulo Rose, 29 years old, jobless and resident of Barangay San Nicolas, Coron, Palawan was arrested by operatives of Coron police station around 11:45AM on Monday.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of existing warrant of arrest under the crime of Arson issued by Hon. Judge Leah Delos Reyes of RTC Branch 48 dated March 27, 2017. Archi Masdo Jr., 27 years old, bet taker was arrested by police authorities of Mendoza police station around 9:30AM at Zone IV , Bucana, Barangay Matahimik, Puerto Princesa City under a warrant of arrest for the violation of Sec. 10 of RA 7610 ( Child Abuse).
The arrest warrant was issued by Hon. Judge Jocelyn Dilig of RTC 47 issued on September 18, 2017.
All subject persons are now under custody of authorities and will be turned over to the court of origin for proper disposition.
