The City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) office is still validating a list of over 700 families affected by severe tropical depression Agaton which it said will receive assistance from the government.
CSWD officer Madeline Cayanan said on Monday the assistance to the affected families will depend on the validation of their needs.
Sino ang kailangang tao,” she added.
She assured the victims that once the information gathering is finished, assistance will immediately be given out.
“Once the information has been gathered and came up with the proposal. We give assistance. Kapag nakuha na ang intake, may action na agad,” she said.
The CSWD said it has listed 777 affected families although the number may change depending on the result of their validation.
“May tentative na kami, actually bina-validate itong 777 families. Puwedeng madagdagan pa iyon,” Cayanan said.
“Kailangan ng konretong numero at konkretong tao na nasalanta kaya gusto naming makita – partially ba, ilan ang partially damaged, ilan ang totally damaged,” she said.
Cayanan added they will give emphasis on providing livelihood assistance to the affected families.
“We also do the psychosocial intervention.
