The city government is set to file a lawsuit against Arreza Corporation based on the latter’s alleged non-compliance of its obligations and responsibility under its lease contract with the city government on the management of the public market.
City Legal Officer and Administrator Atty. Arnel Pedrosa declined to elaborate the specific details of the case but said they plan to be ready for filing next week.
“Hanggang ngayon, hindi pa nakakapag-comply ‘yung Arreza ng mga obligations nila sa lease of contract between the city government,” said Pedrosa.
Pedrosa said they are also awaiting the initial result their investigation team which reviewed Arreza’s case.
He said that the company has to comply with the proper zoning and building regulations. He said buildings constructed without permits will be demolished by the city government.
Pag ganyang walang permit, i-dedemolish natin ‘yan,” said Pedrosa.
