Independent candidate Randolf “Leo” Fantone voluntarily submitted himself for drug testing on Tuesday, April 12, to stress his political mantra “war against drugs.”
In an exclusive interview of Palawan News, he said that all candidates must do the same to prove that their intention to serve the public is really genuine.
“Kasi sabi nila pag nagda-drugs ka, pomo-pogi ka, sumisipag ka dahil sa drug enhancement, unfair naman yun.” He said that for the sake of fairness, all public servant must be drug-free “Ako gusto ko patunayan na normal ako,” he added.
He admitted that the challenge is directed to particular candidates alleged of drug use.
Drug-testing costs P300 and will last for less an hour.
Result was immediately released by a private drug testing center in Puerto Princesa which says Fantone “passed” the test.
