Sixteen Palawan towns signed a pledge of commitment for the inter- LGU Alliance Project launched by the provincial government.
During the launching event Wednesday at the Provincial Capitol grounds, the mayors of the towns of Aborlan, Narra, Sofronio Española, Brooke’s Point, Quezon, Bataraza, Balabac, Taytay, San Vicente, Dumaran, Araceli, Linapacan, Busuanga, Cuyo, Magsaysay and Agutaya signed the pledge.
Under the program,the mayors will identify the projects and programs that they want to be implemented in their towns.
The project will depend on the needs of their residents.
The projects are infrastructure development, tourism development, anti- drug abuse, reforestation and water impounding, climate change adaptation and solid waste management.
These project areas are the priority agenda of the Governor Jose Chavez Alvarez.
 For their part, the mayors thanked the provincial government for the projects that will benefit their constituents.
